This morning when we were about to leave to run some errands Logan found a cricket. He somehow picked it up by the cricket’s hind legs without smashing it. He then looked at it so closely. He said, "Are you looking for your mommy little cricket. Here, let me help you." He then placed the tiny cricket onto the grass. I looked at him and smiled. He then said to me, "He was just looking for his home and got mixed up with ours." LOL The whole time we were shopping, he was very concerned about the cricket. He kept telling me that we needed to go home before a bird found him and ate him. I told him not to worry. As we pulled into the driveway, I could see him looking eagerly out the window for the tiny insect. As I opened his car door, he jumped out and ran to the grass. "Phew, Mom. It looks like he found his home. I didn't want to have to get mad at any birds today." Perspective! It’s a funny thing. I'm glad I have a little one in my life to remind me of the little things.

HA!
That reminded me of what I wrote on mine about the nearly dead beetle that Zoe found. Oh to be three again and see life so fresh and pure!
